PRINCE GEORGE — The union representing four mill workers who died in explosions seven years ago is hoping a new review of the incidents can bring what it calls overdue justice for the victims’ families and survivors.

It’s referring to the blasts at Babine Forest Products in Burns Lake and Lakeland Mills in Prince George in 2012. The original investigation for the Lakeland mill is being considered “botched”.

United Steelworkers Local 1-2017 President Brian O’Rourke said the document has to be before the Attorney General by mid-July.
