29th season of PG Lacrosse begins Wednesday

With the success of the Spruce Kings and many other hockey and ringette teams this season, arena ice has stuck around Prince George a little longer than usual, moving the Prince George senior lacrosse schedule a little all over the place.  They are set to begin tomorrow night on the lacrosse floor at Kin 2. The league will remain at five teams this season with the return of the purple-clad Assault and the loss of the yellow and green Co-Op Pretroleum Stylers. The 40-game season typically runs Mondays through Thursdays, with roadtrips to Quesnel and Mackenzie slated for many weekends throughout the season. The campaign will wrap up on June 26th before playoffs begin.
