VANDERHOOF — If you’re looking for work in Vanderhoof, the Vanderhoof Arena will be the place to be Tuesday afternoon.

WorkBC says over 50 employers have registered to take part in their annual job fair which will run from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Employer Liaison and Case Manager Aash Talwar says employers on site will range from sawmills, a gold mine, and pipeline contractors to retail employers, BC Corrections and the RCMP.

“It’s a great event where people can connect with an employer face-to-face and have a quick conversation,” he says. “Normally these days people apply for jobs via email or through online websites. This is also a great opportunity for businesses to meet potential employees.”
